中国海洋大学学报·自然科学版杂志创刊于1959年，办刊以来，融指导性、实用性、知识性于一体，发行周期为：月刊，经过杂志社调整，不断提高了刊物的整体质量，在行业内有一定的影响。
中国海洋大学学报·自然科学版杂志专业范围涵盖：“海洋科学、水产科学、海洋生物与生态、海洋化学、海洋地质、海洋药物、环境科学与工程、海洋工程、信息技术、海洋技术、海洋管理及相关领域的国内外最新研究成果”，文种为中文。
(一)中文参考文献原文若有对应英文，须附英文内容；若无对应英文，无须翻译。
(二)在正文首页以脚注形式注明第一作者简介(包括姓名、性别、出生年、学历、职称和主要研究方向)。
(三)论文关键词是从报告、论文中选取出来，用来表示全文主题内容信息款目的单词和术语。每篇论文应选取3～5个关键词。
(四)标题。不超过3级。分别以“一、（一）1．”表示。前两级标题后面一般断行，尾部不带句号。第3级一般不断行，加句号。
(五)应具有科学性、实用性、逻辑性，论点明确，资料可靠，文字精炼，层次清楚，数据准确，必要时应做统计学处理。
